AirSong ("we", "us", or "our") is a mobile application that lets you share music tracks across different streaming platforms. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
When you use AirSong, we collect the following information:
- Account information: Your name and username provided during sign-in via Apple or Google.
- User ID: A unique identifier tied to your Apple or Google account.
- Messages: The music track links and short messages you send through the app to other users.
- Push notification token: A device token used to deliver notifications when you receive a shared track.
- Streaming service preference: Which music platform you use (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).
- Yandex Music token (optional): Only if you explicitly connect your Yandex Music account via OAuth.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the core music-sharing functionality.
- To send you push notifications when you receive a shared track.
- To convert track links between streaming platforms on your behalf.
- To maintain your contacts list within the app.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the app's core functionality.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:
- Streaming platforms: Track metadata is retrieved from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Yandex Music, and Deezer APIs to perform conversions. We do not share your personal data with these services beyond what is technically required for the API requests.
- Push notification delivery: Your push token is shared with Expo's push notification service solely to deliver messages you've requested.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers in the European Union. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We retain your account data for as long as your account exists, or as required by law.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent for optional data (e.g., disconnect your Yandex Music account at any time from the app's Profile screen).

6. Children's Privacy
AirSong is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
